Pianist Carmen Rodriguez-Peralta and MCC colleagues in A World of Music

About this Event

Carmen is a Pianist and the Music Department Chair at Middlesex Community College, Bedford and Lowell, Massachusetts, and Director of "A World of Music" concert series. She has performed as piano soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States, Peru, and Mexico, including two solo recitals at Carnegie Recital Hall.

She has given numerous lecture recitals on Latin American Music at various universities throughout the United States. She is also dedicated to performing New American Music, and has given many premieres of works by New England composers. Her recordings include "Teresa Correño: Solo Piano and Chamber Works" and "Music for Cello and Piano from Latin America." And her most recent album is "A Peruvian Sojourn," recorded with Orlando Cela and Larry Bell, "Prelude and Fugues," both released by Albany records in 2022.

Carmen holds a postgraduate diploma from the Juilliard School.
