About this Event
Repair is necessary in the broken world we find ourselves in. Imagine a world where consumption was minimized and we simply repaired what we already have.
Cultivating a Repair Mindset with our students provides opportunities to cultivate their thinking about systems. Looking closely to explore what the design of an object tells us about the systems shaping our lives and consider how we might repair those systems for greater justice and healing.
Join us for this free, interactive workshop where we will experience powerful tools for cultivating a repair mindset.
In this workshop, we will:
Explore key concepts in repair and maker-centered learning
Try out repair-based thinking routines & be inspired to use them with our learners
Engage in the richness of repair
