About this Event
Join our very own Chef Luciano Schipano for a unique, in-depth exploration and live demonstration of two of Italy’s most iconic cheeses — mozzarella and its rarer, more refined cousin, burrata.
This fun and delicious event will begin with a general introduction to the world of Italian cheeses, followed by a demonstration and tasting of traditional Italian mozzarella knots with Chef Luciano Schipano.
We’ll then dive into the making of burrata, one of Italy’s true culinary treasures. Fresh mozzarella is hand-shaped into a small pouch and filled with a luxurious mixture of mozzarella curds and fresh cream, also known as Stracciatella.
When the burrata is cut open, a rich, creamy filling flows out, creating a moment of culinary drama. With its rich, buttery flavor and fresh, milky taste, burrata is truly irresistible.
Chef Luciano will also prepare a selection of dishes showcasing burrata’s luxurious qualities, along with additional recipe ideas, including:
- Risotto with mushrooms and burrata, finished with truffle oil
- Pizza topped with mortadella, burrata, and arugula
- Roasted pear with burrata parfait
This class offers a step-by-step, hands-on experience, meaning you’ll cook alongside the chef in real-time.
