About this Event
Guests will have the opportunity to discover 'Cuisines of Odesa' — more than just a cookbook, it is a work of art that captures the spirit, history, and unique flavours of this Ukrainian Black Sea city through family recipes and stories passed down through generations.
The event will feature the book's author and philanthropist Maria Kalenska, alongside British journalist and renowned cultural commentator Felicity Spector.
Together, we'll explore Odesa's culinary heritage, the stories behind its food traditions, and how cuisine helps preserve culture, identity, and community.
Over coffee, tea, and Odesa-inspired desserts, we'll share stories, conversation, and a taste of the city itself.
Copies of Cuisines of Odesa will be available for purchase at the event.
