40 Years in Music
Humberto Ramírez who recently celebrated his 40th year in music with a thrilling performance in Puerto Rico is now bringing that celebration to New York City. The acclaimed trumpeter bandleader and artist will perform his most iconic Latin jazz compositions and songs joined by his vocalist Michelle “La Brava” members of his band and the Mambo Legends Orchestra.
A Tribute to La Lupe
In the second half the Mambo Legends Orchestra pays tribute to the La Lupe. The 18-piece Latin Big Band will perform 13 of her most iconic songs. Musical Director and Arranger José Madera has meticulously arranged these classics adding the 25-piece string section of the Bronx Arts Ensemble to create a rich full sound – never before heard anywhere else. The powerhouse vocalists Michelle "La Brava” and Lena Burke the scion of the famous Burke family from Cuba will bring La Lupe's music to life with their incredibly passionate performances.
