Members, grab your work gloves and show up! Just for an hour or more if you have the time. All help is appreciated. Saturday November 9 is the Second Fall ALL HANDS DAY and we will focus on the grounds and house. Join the volunteers who are getting together to “prep the place for the off season."
We will start at 9AM and breakfast and lunch will be provided. (Heck, it is a work PARTY, right?)
Please bring work gloves and any yard "weapons" you might own such as a rake, leaf blower, chainsaw, trimmer, etc.
Quartermaster Ken K. will be at the club to direct the efforts.
Keep an eye on the calendar & Facebook because next week (November 16) we will haul the docks & do more house and yard work.
More about AHD...All Hands Days! Every year we host two All Hands Days in the spring and two in the fall. Yes, we encourage volunteering throughout the year, but on these specific days we count on ALL MEMBERS to show up and help "open up" and "close down" the club. Without these All-Hands Days, we are unable to successfully operate and provide an enjoyable location to boat and socialize.
There are a lot of tasks, requiring varying levels of talent. There is a job for everyone! INCLUDING...taking photos and sending them to your volunteer Facebook administrator!
Also, these days are not just work, but a great opportunity to meet your fellow club members, discuss the season, and enjoy breakfast and lunch!
We hope to see everyone at the club!
