EXCITING NEWS!Announcing the return of an event that has been asked about for years. Join us for our “Cruise to the Coast” event on Saturday, November 8th, 2025!
The Cruise to the Coast event began in 2012 when a fellow Z club member and active-duty service member returned from a tour and mentioned that they hadn’t ever been to Corpus Christi. As a result, members from the Z Club of Houston, ZSport San Antonio, and Capital Z of Texas organized to meet and host a lunch in Corpus Christi for him. Due to the large response of the first event, the cruise was organized again in 2013 and 2014. This time, a cruise, dinner venue, and hotel block were arranged.
2025 marks the return of the Cruise to the Coast event, and we look forward to you joining us.
Schedule (tentative):
Saturday (11/8)
9:30am Meet at the Lowe’s parking lot (Goliad Rd near I-37S)
10am Roll out to Corpus Christi
11am Gas station stop
12pm Arrive for lunch in Corpus Christi (venue tba)
2pm Photoshoot, enjoy shoreline & downtown CC, etc.
4pm Begin staging for sunset cruise
4:20pm Roll out for sunset cruise
(sunset approximately at 5:40pm)
6pm Cruise ends. Check into hotel.
7:30pm Dinner reservation (venue tba)
8:30pm Explore Corpus at night (optional)
(End of night) - Relax at hotel beach area
Sunday (11/9)
• 11am Check out of hotel
• 11:30am Breakfast tacos
• 12:30pm Roll out to San Antonio
• 2:30pm Return to San Antonio
