Community Pledge Tree
Throughout Great Big Green Week, visitors will have the opportunity to take part in our Community Pledge Tree initiative.
The pledge tree will be available during the Big Green Fair and at the Parish Council offices throughout the week, giving residents, families and visitors the chance to make their own sustainability pledge.
Whether it’s reducing waste, saving energy, walking more, planting for pollinators, recycling more effectively or making small lifestyle changes, every pledge helps contribute towards a greener and more sustainable community.
The initiative is inspired by the wider Take The Jump movement, which encourages people to make simple, practical lifestyle changes that collectively have a positive environmental impact. The campaign focuses on achievable behaviour changes that help reduce waste, lower emissions and support more sustainable ways of living.
We encourage everyone attending the Green Fair — and all local residents throughout the week — to visit the pledge tree and share one positive behaviour change they can commit to.
Together, small changes can make a big impact.
To learn more about the campaign and discover practical sustainability ideas, visit Take The Jump: https://takethejump.org/
