We're meeting at Golden Valley Brewing. Park at the FAR END of the parking lot as to not disturb their business (we'll be gone before they open, but still be respectful). From there we will take Highway 26, *north on highway 47* then highway 202 into Astoria. We'll regroup at Jewell Meadows Wildlife Area, shortly past highway 103 on the left-hand side and Astoria High School before heading south on highway 101 to Seaside.Keep in mind this route is very twisty and technical, but it is smooth. It is low car friendly, but it is logged on so be mindful of possible debris. It's also twisty enough to be fun at reasonable speeds, so don't be a hero. Just enjoy the ride. Also the only gas station on the route until Astoria is in Vernonia, so I'd recommend coming with a full tank at the beginning.
*PS* I haven't heard from the State Park after multiple emails to the head ranger, so until I get a chance to run out there, I will keep that out of the route.
