Wir schauen ja eher Horrorfilme, aber wenn die Kampfchoreos so beeindruckend sind wie bei "The Furious", dann nehmen wir auch so ein Actionfeuerwerk mal gerne ins Programm auf. Für Fans von "The Raid" absolut sehenswert. Überzeugt euch selbst. Als die Tochter (Enyou Yang) eines einfachen Handwerkers (Miao Xie) auf offener Straße entführt wird, muss der Vater sich durch ein komplexes Netz von Kriminellen kämpfen, um sie zurückzugewinnen – koste es, was es wolle. Als sein einziger Verbündeter entpuppt sich ein Journalist (Joe Taslim). Obwohl die beiden Männer sehr gegensätzlich sind, müssen sie lernen, sich zu vertrauen und zusammenzuarbeiten. Und sie brauchen die Kampffähigkeiten aus ihren lange versteckten Vergangenheiten...
