Wir hatten das Screening letztes Jahr schon mal geplant, aber da gab es Probleme mit den Rechten. Jetzt ist alles geklärt und wir beginnen 2025 mit Oliver Stone's kontroversem Klassiker "Natural Born Killers" mit Woody Harrelson und Juliette Lewis. Der Film kam zwar im Oktober 1994 in die Kinos und hatte somit letztes Jahr 30jähriges Jubiläum, aber ist ja noch nicht so lange her. Kommt also am 04.01.2025 in die Creepy Crypt und schaut mit uns den Director's Cut des Films. Wir freuen uns.Mickey (Woody Harrelson) und Mallory Knox (Juliette Lewis) sind ein Liebespaar, das eine Blutspur durch die USA zieht. Innerhalb weniger Wochen haben sie über 50 Menschen auf dem Gewissen. Die Polizei ist ihnen auf den Fersen, die Öffentlichkeit stilisiert sich zu Helden und der sadistische Polizist Jack Scagnetti (Tom Sizemore) ist fanatisch besessen davon, die Serientäter endlich zur Strecke zu bringen. Als die beiden Liebenden in der Wüste bei einem Indianer während eines Drogentrips von Klapperschlangen gebissen werden, machen sie sich auf den Weg, um eine Apotheke zu überfallen und das Gegengift zu entwenden. Doch der Raubzug geht schief und das Killerpärchen wird geschnappt. Im Gefängnis stehen sie unter der Aufsicht des passionierten Anstaltsleiter Dwight McClusky (Tommy Lee Jones), der ein Fernsehinterview mit dem TV-Reporter Wayner Gale (Robert Downey jr.) zulässt. Während der Aufnahmen bricht eine Revolte aus, die blutige Ausmaße annimmt.

We had already planned the screening last year, but there were problems with the rights. Now everything is clear and we are starting 2025 with Oliver Stone's controversial classic "Natural Born Killers" with Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis. The film came out in October 1994 and thus had its 30th anniversary last year, but it wasn't that long ago. Mickey (Woody Harrelson) and Mallory Knox (Juliette Lewis) are a couple in love who leave a trail of blood across the USA. Within a few weeks they have over 50 people on their conscience. The police are on their heels, the public stylizes themselves as heroes and the sadistic police officer Jack Scagnetti (Tom Sizemore) is fanatically obsessed with finally bringing the serial killers to justice. When the two lovers are bitten by rattlesnakes during a drug trip at an Indian's in the desert, they set out to rob a pharmacy and steal the antidote. But the robbery goes wrong and the killer couple is caught. In prison, they are under the supervision of the passionate prison director Dwight McClusky (Tommy Lee Jones), who allows a television interview with the TV reporter Wayner Gale (Robert Downey Jr.). During the recording, a revolt breaks out that takes on bloody proportions.</english>
