Join Tampa Bay’s number one family Halloween event, Creatures of the Night, at ZooTampa for a night of eerie family frights! Ghouls and goblins of all ages can enjoy howling outdoor experiences, spooky characters, creepy culinary treats, and much more! ZooTampa Members and Pay For A Day ticket holders get admission to seasonal events like Creatures of the Night.
This year’s event features the Testudians, a group of aliens who have disguised themselves as reptiles for centuries to live among us and transmit information about Earth for an extraterrestrial invasion! The governments of the world have found ways to interrupt their communications, but the Testudians are aware of the plans and will do anything they can to carry out their mission. It’s up to you to help stop the Testudians before they take over the world!
Creatures of the Night is perfect for families. Its plenty of scare zones range from the tame to the terrifying, ensuring that both younger children and thrill-seeking teens can find something to enjoy. The event also features special animal presentations, highlighting the mysterious and fascinating creatures that thrive after dark.

- Pumpkin Palooza: Perfect for younger children, Pumpkin Palooza offers a less spooky experience with pumpkin decorating, face painting, and other fun fall activities.
- Spooky Safari: A guided tour that takes families through the zoo to learn about nocturnal animals in a less frightening, educational environment.
- Monster Mash Dance Party: Kids can show off their best dance moves at this fun and lively dance party, featuring Halloween-themed music and live DJs.
