Creative Writing and Poetry Workshop to Build Healing Stories

Every other Thursday afternoon, we gather to explore the transformative power of creative writing and poetry. This isn't about perfect grammar or published authors. It's about giving voice to experiences that matter, emotions that need expression, and stories that deserve to be told.

This is creative expression meets community healing.

Through guided writing prompts, poetic exploration, and supportive group sharing, we create a safe space where your words become tools for self-discovery, emotional processing, and collective advocacy.

Everything else is provided.

All writing materials provided. No experience required. No pressure to share if you're not ready. No judgment about skill level or subject matter.

• Lived Experience: Facilitators understand what it means to use writing as survival and healing
• Trauma-Informed: Safe, gentle guidance that respects your pace and boundaries
• Identity-Affirming: All stories, identities, and experiences welcomed and celebrated
• Advocacy-Focused: We believe personal stories are political acts that create change

Format: Drop-in welcome, but registration helps us prepare materials
