Gabby Brown is a technical designer in the US fashion industry. Her experience is in ready-to-wear apparel manufacturing for major retailers including Abercrombie & Fitch and JCPenney. Gabby’s background is focused on fitting, construction, patternmaking, grading, and block development. She teaches workshops and intensive classes, works with private clients to create their own custom wardrobes, and businesses to focus their product offerings on fit and size equity. Gabby will be leading a creative workshop on the fashion design process, developing a mood board and initial clothing designs, identifying your target customer and creating a design profile, and learning how to work with a samplemaker. Creatives are welcome to bring their patterns, designs and works in progress for feedback. Clothing fittings are available on request.
