A sacred somatic dance journey to reconnect with your body, awaken authentic expression, and move with presence.
About this Event

Creative Movement is a somatic and meditative dance practice designed to cultivate embodied awareness and authentic expression. Through guided musical journeys and conscious activation of the body, participants progressively awaken physical sensation, emotional intelligence, and intuitive clarity.

This is not a choreography-based class. It is a structured yet open container where movement becomes inquiry. Through rhythm, breath, and presence, we inhabit the body as a source of information, revealing how we are relating to ourselves, to others, and to the present moment.

Who is this for?

This class is open to anyone curious about movement as a pathway to self-awareness, creativity, and emotional integration. No dance experience is required.

It is especially supportive for people seeking to reconnect with their bodies, release stress, explore authentic expression, and experience movement in a safe and welcoming environment.

Sample Schedule:

Arrival & Grounding

Gentle verbal guidance, breath awareness, and body activation to help participants arrive and settle into presence.

Somatic Exploration & Movement Journey

Participants are guided through curated music and simple prompts that invite exploration of rhythm, sensation, and intuitive movement.

Integration & Closing

The session gently slows down with grounding practices and reflection to support integration of the experience.

The journey is gently guided at the beginning to help participants enter the experience, and softly facilitated at the end to support integration. In between, there is spaciousness—allowing each participant to explore their own authentic movement within a held and supportive container.

Creative Movement offers a space where people can reconnect with the wisdom of their bodies and explore movement as a form of self-inquiry, creativity, and healing.

In a fast-paced and mentally driven world, this practice invites participants to slow down, listen inwardly, and cultivate a deeper relationship with their own embodied intelligence.

Participants will leave with:

• A deeper connection to their body and inner awareness
• Tools to regulate their nervous system through movement and breath
• Greater emotional clarity and self-trust
• A sense of creative freedom and authentic expression
• The experience of moving within a supportive and connected community

The intention is simple yet profound: to cultivate the capacity to show up in the world fully embodied—rooted in your own wisdom, aligned with your inner truth, and confident in your creative expression.

All are welcome!

When: Second Fridays from 8-10pm

Where: Green Yogi Telegraph
