Creative Ink Art with artist Catherine Sanvictores
A New Zealand mixed media artist residing in Auckland, and mother of four, Catherine was born in the Philippines. She came as a child with her family and settled in Dunedin before marrying and moving to Auckland.
Art is in Catherine's blood. Her biological Dad was a well-respected artist in the Philippines. She is self-taught but did do some training through the Learning Connexion in Wellington. She has been creating art since 2003, participating in some joint exhibitions and art expo's and has run art workshops for children and adults.
An ardent colourist , you will find all sorts of mixed media in her artwork. Her current passion are inks! She enjoys storytelling through her paintings and incorporates her passion for mindfulness in her art tutoring and painting practice. Art can be a powerful channel for self discovery and expression and Cath is excited to share this with others through creativity.
