Join us at UAL for a celebration of over 30 South London-based creative founders and freelancers from the 2022/23 Creative Futures Programme.

Participants have been working with the UAL community and beyond to build skills to shape and launch their creative businesses. We would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the founders, provide a space for networking and share our thanks to mentors, business coaches and supporters.

Throughout the evening we’ll ask what’s next for routes into creative and digital entrepreneurship in South London, and explore topics of resilient creativity, inclusive growth and championing founders from diverse backgrounds. We'll also host stalls and exhibits from participating businesses.

About Creative Futures

Creative Futures is a programme by University of the Arts London designed to unleash the creative and entrepreneurial potential of South London’s young creatives (18-25), supporting you to set up and grow viable businesses within a creative field. This free offer of support is for people who have an idea for a business and are looking to take it to the next stage.

Participants on the programme are matched with a sector mentor and benefit from interactive workshops and talks by guest speakers from across University of the Arts London and beyond. The programme seeks to support founders from underrepresented backgrounds, and to nurture inclusive growth in the local economy.

The Hub at Eagle Wharf

Intended as a dynamic space for creative engagement and idea generation, with focus on new technologies. The Hub combines a learning centre for local people of all ages to develop digital skills and a space for creative start-up businesses based in Peckham offering mentoring and business support.

The Hub provides space for local residents, graduates and students to explore and find solutions to social challenges through digital technologies, learn new skills and generate business ideas. The Hub will offer bookable spaces and drop-in activities as well as longer-running programmes for local businesses and UAL graduates. We are keen to work with Peckham communities to shape the ways this space will be used.
