This event is to be held at Charlotte Hupfield Ceramics in BrockhallPink Welly Flower Farm & Charlotte Hupfield Ceramics bring you a mindful, fun and relaxing retreat. Come and switch off from day to day life, connect with nature, spend time chatting to like-minded people, unleash your creativity, and experience some delicious food, all in a beautiful, rustic environment.
Spend the morning in Charlottes creative studio getting your hands stuck in to hand building and decorating your own vase from scratch. You will be guided by Charlotte with step-by-step processes along the way. Coloured slips will be used to add colour to your vase, and there will be a range of mark making tools and texture materials to choose from.
For lunch, enjoy a selection of delicious artisan grazing boards, homemade salads, roasted veg, rustic breads, quiches, pastas and sweet treats by a local caterer.
Whilst your pieces start to dry in the afternoon you will get started on your living wreath. Using willow bases and moss to keep your wreaths nice and fresh, you will create a wreath to hang on your door that will keep growing for months to come. You will be able to choose from fresh spring flowers and foliage grown on the farm, along with mini plug plants and bulbs that will keep flowering for months to come. Becky will be sharing some of her tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your flowers, including how to care for them.
Your ceramic masterpieces will be carefully dried, glazed and fired by Charlotte . You will be notified when they are ready for collection in a few weeks, or they can be posted at cost if you prefer.
Charlotte & Becky will be on hand throughout the day to guide and inspire you through the creative processes and answer any questions you may have. No prior experience needed. All materials, tools, aprons, food and beverages will be provided. We will be there to give you as much or as little guidance as you wish, and hope you have an enjoyable day with us.
This full day workshop is an ideal activity for you and some friends or family to enjoy together, or if you would like to come alone, you would be very welcome.
We want to keep this retreat small with a maximum of 10 people, so spaces are limited. Please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Further dates will be organised later in the year, back at the farm using fresh flowers from the cutting patch.
We want to make sure everyone has the most enjoyable day possible and can take advance of the yummy food. So please advise at time of booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements so we can ensure they are catered for.
