An evening of free circus arts, yoga, fire dancing, flow arts, music, and interactive art at Gas Works Park. We aim to foster creativity, inclusivity, and connection while celebrating Seattle's diverse artistic community. The event combines workshops, performance art, music, and community building.What to Expect:
- Free yoga class
- Wellness & movement workshops (donation based)
- Visual arts
- Circus performances (acro & aerial)
- Fire & flow arts
- Music by local DJs / musicians
- Anything else people want to come and share with the community (as long as it is free and family-friendly)
What you can do/bring:
- For artists & creatives: we encourage you to come with whatever you have be that body painting, dance, aerial, etc.
- For non-artists: bring games, crafts, friends, picnic supplies, and/or reach out to us about volunteering.
- For Everyone: While we do this event for free, it is not free to put on. We would love your support to help cover the costs - Please consider donating, every little bit helps!
The Vibe: Fun, Playful, Expressive, Inclusive
The Why:
This event focuses on building community, empowering artists, and inspiring creativity. We encourage radical participation, curiosity, and collaboration. This is an inclusive space for people of all ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic levels to experience and contribute incredible art.
The NO-NOs / Not allowed:
- No selling: This event is free and non-commercial, we operate based on donations and no selling of any kind is permitted. If you are a workshop facilitator please reach out directly as these will be organized and offered on a donation basis.
- No profanity or inappropriate behavior: seems self-explanatory
- No renegade music: while this is a space for creatives to converge, we choose our DJs/music intentionally and in advance. If you'd like to play, spots are very limited but you may reach out directly.
