Long-term Browns Bay resident Zirk Van Den Berg shares insights into choosing to write, what to write, and tips on how to go about writing a novel. This will be a practical session for would-be writers.Zirk is the author of 10 published novels, a volume of short stories and a memoir, writing in both English and Afrikaans. Two of his works were published in New Zealand. Nobody Dies (Random House 2004) received good reviews and I Wish. I Wish (Cuba Press, 2020) was shortlisted for the NZ Booklovers Award.
