Creating Space is a kaupapa around kai, self-sufficiency and our connection to the taiao [environment]. This community event brings together wild kai gathered and prepared from the Ngāhere [forests] Moana [waters] Māra [gardens] and shared freely with community.
Expect live demonstrations on prepping the kai, holistic healing practices, tamariki [kids] nature play, music and more.
All of this is co-created by our extended community and given freely. Given without expecting to receive.
What to bring:
- plate, bowl, cup and cutlery. We provide the kai, but you'll need something to eat it with. We will have a washing station set up.
- your good vibes
This is a zero waste event! Please don't bring single use or disposable plastics please.
