Creating Social Media Videos for your Company or Organization (A Full Day Hands-On Workshop)
Video is now the most viewed type of content in the world. It far exceeds traditional marketing in scope and has become the most effective way to brand and market your products and/or services. If you aren’t planning and creating video based content for your company or organization, on a regular basis, you are losing market share.
In this hands-on workshop (ideal for professional development), you will learn how to plan for, shoot and distribute video based social media content using tools such as smart phones and cost effective audio & lighting equipment. The morning session will focus on planning, including how social media will tie into your branding and marketing strategy. The afternoon session will focus on practical application whereby you will actually create content and learn how to distribute it to various social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts.

Jem Schofield has been creating corporate, promotional, commercial and educational content for over 25 years. His journey began with his first real camera (a used Pentax K-1000), which eventually led to his focus professionally, moving images.
Jem is the founder of theC47, a full-service production company (Based in the Pacific Northwest’s Willamette Valley), that provides video production, post-production, consulting and educational services. His company has produces targeted, brand focused content for a wide range of clients including Age of Learning (ABC Mouse), Apple, Canon U.S.A, Cooper Union, NANLUX Lighting, RØDE Microphones, Steadicam and ZEISS.
Jem is also an equipment design consultant to many manufacturers in the film and television industry and has consulted on product design and development for ARRI, Calibrite, Kino Flo, Fuji, Miller Tripods, Sekonic, Tenba and Tiffen.
