Noongar Writer of Children's Picture Books.
Ebony Froome was born and raised on Wardani Boodja in Busselton, WA. She maintains strong ties to her home while she now lives in Perth, on Whadjuk Boodja, with her family.
Ebony will host a workshop session of how she came to create her first children's book of the Noongar language and stories of the Noongar Seasons.

This delightfully illustrated book takes readers through the seasons of the Noongar calendar, exploring different seasonal indicators to increase readers’ awareness of the environment around them and their knowledge of the Noongar language.
Noongar country is portrayed in spectacular detail with gorgeous illustrations of the plants and animals typically seen in each season of the year.
