About this Event

Learn to create your own Festive Christmas Rag Wreath reusing beautiful selvedge and linens, working with sustainable materials

You will choose your own colourway of fabrics and learn how to create a simple rag wreath that can be used again and again.

This is an half-day event limited to just 8 participants. The workshop is held at Yodomo's new Textile Reuse Hub in Hackney Wick.

Led by Yodomo's founder Sophie Rochester, you will learn to create a simple wall hanging or curtain.

All materials are provided. Participants may also bring their own materials if they want to incorporate these into their works.

About Yodomo

Yodomo is a social venture on a mission to increase wellbeing and promote the understanding of the reuse of materials by facilitating wider participation in making and crafts. We believe that making is good for you and good for the planet.

The word 'Yodomo' is short for 'You Do More'. We encourage participation in crafts and making by bringing the expertise of independent artists and makers directly to you. Our makers teach either online, through kits or at live events.

About Yodomo Circular Hubs

Yodomo runs Yodomo Circular Hubs which connects businesses, makers and communities, finding innovative solutions to creatively reuse pre-consumer waste and surplus materials.

Premised on the logic of the circular economy, we seek to provide practical solutions to reusing waste while benefiting the creative community and local businesses of Hackney.
