Create and Play
A relaxed, low-pressure creative session at Hinterland open to absolutely anyone, especially if you don’t think you’re creative.
What to expect
- Lots of materials to play with (think collage, Lego, writing prompts, pens, etc.) - all materials supplied.
- Optional chance to discuss and share with others
- A friendly space with no pressure to be “good”
- A safe, alcohol-free environment to relax, explore, and connect
- A chance to meet like-mided people in a no-pressure environment
- Fun!
We really want to create an evening which isn’t about talent or perfection. It’s about freedom, curiosity, and the joy of making without rules.
You may with to bring your own journal/something to write in, otherwise all materials are supplied including lots of paper, pens, collaging materials etc.....
Tickets are on a sliding scale starting at £7 for low/no income. No questions asked, no proof required. If you are able to, please consider a 'supporter' ticket which increases our funds to continue running these events in the future.
This is an event for adults only.
About the facilitator:
Fi (they/them) is a facilitator and reflective coach based at Hinterland. They hold small group sessions that offer space for reflection, conversation, and careful thinking about life, work, and change. Their work is grounded, gently structured, and focused on creating safe, thoughtful spaces rather than providing answers.
