We are delighted to invite you to a late-spring workshop, during which you will learn to create and photograph a floral still life creation. This will be a gentle, creative morning set in the peaceful surroundings of our Beak Street store.
Florist Emma Thistlethwaite (Thistle By Nature) will show you how to arrange your still life, using seasonal florals, props and fresh ingredients. She will then guide you through creating your own arrangement. Please do bring along your own objects to incorporate!
Photographer Aloha Bonser-Shaw (the photographer behind many of our shots at Ffern) will then take you through the fundamentals of styling and photographing still lifes. You'll have a one-to-one session with Aloha, using both digital and film cameras to capture your still life.
We will share your photos digitally on the day, as well as posting a physical print from your film shots later on.
This workshop will take place on Sunday 2nd June at 10am and will last about 2 hours. We will provide all the necessary materials for your creation, as well as drinks and snacks for everyone. No previous experience is necessary. Tickets are £65 to cover materials and costs.

Please let us know if you are no longer able to attend, even up until the last minute - this is courteous to our artists as well as potentially allowing someone else to attend. Please note we are unable to refund your ticket if you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop’s start time.
