CRAZY8S 2026 Gala Screening + Afterparty

Crazy8s Film Society proudly presents a celebration of 6 new short films with the theme "Into the Unknown"—made by 6 inspiring filmmaking teams in just 8 crazy days—at the annual Crazy8s 2026 Gala Screening at The Centre in Vancouver. This is Crazy8s’ 27th year since the very first screening in 1999.

Following the Gala Screening, head over to the Afterparty at Science World with an 80's-inspired, cyber-glow vibe—Vancouver’s largest single-evening film and television industry party!

Walk the “blue carpet,” indulge in premium beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) at the bars from vendor sponsor Lavish Liquid, and hit the dance floors on two separate levels, both featuring live DJs spinning retro 80's hits and more. Strike a pose at our LED movie poster gallery and selfie station/photo booth. The on-site Triple O’s will be open and featuring their full menu all evening!

Come celebrate this year's most excellently rad indie filmmaking creatives, and Crazy8s' 27th year, with us!
