We have special guests, Mayana and Vikash, who are the main singers of the Saltspring Island Ananda kirtan band joining us tonight. (Just the 2 lead singers/facilitators, not the entire band).They have been leading kirtan for decades, steeped in the Babi Hari Das tradition, of whom the Saltspring Centre of Yoga philosophy is based on.
Along with sharing kirtan, they will be sharing their personal stories of meeting Baba Hari Dass and life as one of his students. Very interesting for spiritual seekers, I imagine.

Mantras are positive uplifting names and phrases which awaken the inner light and love within yourself. Kirtan uses repetitive chanting with music to foster that awakening.

Chanters, new and experienced are welcome. For lovers of kirtan, VCK goal is to offer a space for people to enjoy the blessings and gifts of kirtan.
