The Crape Myrtle Capital of Texas will be in full-bloom and ready to celebrate Independence Day with the 28th Annual Crape Myrtle Festival on July 3 at the Waxahachie Sports Complex FREE to the public. The patriotic celebration will begin at 6 p.m. with a LIVE concert at 7:30 p.m. starring ZZ TEX - The Ultimate ZZ Top Experience, featuring the iconic look, sound and raw power of Texas' greatest music legend ZZ Top...Have Mercy!Followed by the spectacular H-E-B and Myrtle Creek Community fireworks display at 9:15 p.m. Lawn chairs, blankets and coolers are allowed. Happy 250th Birthday, America!!

4th of July Parade
On July 4, the celebration will continue at 10 a.m. with the CNB of Texas hometown parade from Getzendaner Park down Main Street to Downtown Waxahachie. The 4th of July Parade is FREE to the public.
