Celebrate Independence Day in true patriotic style as Waxahachie honors America’s 250th Anniversary with hometown fun, family traditions, and red, white & blue pride known as the Crape Myrtle Festival & Parade! On July 4, the celebration begins at 10 a.m. with the CNB of Texas Hometown Parade traveling from Getzendaner Park down Main Street into historic Downtown Waxahachie. The parade is FREE to the public and will feature festive floats, music, community groups, and plenty of patriotic spirit as we celebrate 250 years of American independence.

The Annual Dan McClinton Veterans’ Memorial Breakfast, proudly sponsored by First Baptist Church of Waxahachie, is our community’s way of saying thank you for your service and sacrifice. Whether you served decades ago or are currently serving — including those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan during the War on Terror — you are invited to be our honored guest.
Enjoy a hot breakfast, connect with fellow service members, and be recognized by a grateful community before riding as a guest of honor in the Waxahachie 4th of July Parade.
