👋🏼 Get to know our rare breed Bagot Goats, Royal Golden Guernsey Goats, Oxford Sandy & Black Pigs, Fell Ponies, Khaki Campbell Ducks (& ducklings!) Sussex (Speckled, Buff & Light) and Cream Legbar Hens (& chicks);
📸 Cuddling or hand-feeding our animals means you have plenty of photo opportunities;
🎨 Explore our kids corner with farm craft & colouring activities;
🌱 Plant & take home your very own Cragg House Farm Runner Bean;
🧶 Opportunity to purchase our handmade goat milk soap, food to feed the animals during your visit & locally sourced native breed fleeces for crafting or yarn for knitting;
🧠 Lots of competitions to get involved in and prizes to be won including a colouring competition, guess the weight of the piglets, judging farm animals and a quiz!

Each ticket includes a turn on our ‘Grow Your Own’ planting activity where you will get to plant a runner bean to take home and grow your own vegetables to enjoy later this summer.
Each family ticket (£10) includes one bag of animal feed to feed our animals.

Travel by bike or on foot & include a stop off at us on your route
Buttermere can be accessed by bus from Keswick or Cockermouth: Stagecoach 77, 77a & 77c
There are no parking facilities on farm but pay & display parking is available at the National Trust car park next door to the farm or in the centre of the village.
If you park in the centre of the village: cross the bridge at the Bridge Hotel & head 250m up the hill and you will find Cragg House Farm on your left.
If you park in the National Trust car park: head right out of the car park & we are the first farm on your right.
