About this Event
Welcome to Crafting a better future: a community arts event for Children On the Edge! Join us at The Old Library at Pembroke College on the 28th of February from 11am to 3pm for a day filled with creativity and fun. Feel free to book a ticket and arrive anytime during the event.
Let's come together to support a great cause and make a positive impact on the lives of children!
In our guided crafting sessions we will be making Postcards to show our support for children and teachers in conflict and crisis zones, badges to show solidarity, and learning about childrens mental health with resources from The Peace of Mind Foundation.
Activities should take 20-40mins and you are welcome to stay for as long as you like.
There will also be a Bakesale and Raffle.
While the event is free to attend, we are suggesting an optional donation of £2-£4, to Children on the Edge, a charity that provides education and support to over 15,000 vulnerable children worldwide.
