Craft Your Path Open House at North Lawndale Employment Network!
North Lawndale Employment Network is hosting a Craft Your Path Open House to welcome youth, parents, high school counselors, and community-based organizations to learn about our workforce training programs for job seekers ages 18 to 24.
Youth will be able to apply to NLEN's work readiness program and complete the intake assessment during this time to get signed up right away to start crafting a path to a new career. Craft Your Path focuses on the most in-demand jobs in healthcare, technology, advanced manufacturing, transportation, distribution and logistics, and hospitality -- and our staff can assist you with finding a career pathway based on your interests.
NLEN staff will be available to answer any questions from prospective participants, school counselors or staff, or staff from social service agencies that want to learn more about our program!
Food, drinks, and raffles will be provided during our Open House. Benefits of enrolling in Craft Your Path include: one-on-one career coaching, paid job training opportunities, $8,000 grant scholarship to enroll in various high-demand career pathways, and financial incentives for completing the program.
