CPD Yoga Therapy Professional Teacher Workshop with Alexa Kho-Hinkson, Ambika Yoga Sunday 27th June 2021

Alexa Kho-Hinkson, Founder of Ambika Yoga and Senior Yoga Teacher from London, will be offering this Yoga Therapy Professional Teacher Workshop this Summer back at the wonderful Down to Earth studio, Tufnell Park, Islington, UK for those Yoga Teachers looking to add to their CPD Hours in 2021.
This Workshop will develop your knowledge and expertise in Yoga Therapy, as well as build confidence in applying essential therapeutic techniques to your students, and clients. We will look closely at sequencing for those with Limited Mobility, including Arthritis, the Elderly and Injuries, and you will thus develop the knowledge and understanding to manage these issues more effectively and sensitively, within your teaching.
This workshop will begin with an initial practice taught by Alexa, following with a half an hour break where you can sit outside in the private courtyard area located by the studio or have a stroll locally. After which, we will look closely at the theory and practice of Yoga Therapy for the specific health issues covered. Handouts and information will be provided for the course day as well as practical advice for teaching in person, as well as online. You will gain 4.5 CPD hours upon completion of the full day, from Yoga Alliance Professionals.
