- 11:30 am - 12:20 pm--Support Roles in the County Healthcare System
Learn directly from hospital and health system leaders about the wide range of support roles that keep our healthcare system running. This session covers day-to-day responsibilities, team culture, and what to expect in the recruitment and hiring process.
- 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm--Stand Out in the County Hiring Process: Proven Strategies for Job Seekers
This session tackles one of the most common questions from job seekers: How do I increase my chances of getting an interview? Learn how to decode the County’s application process, effectively promote and highlight your expertise in your job application, and understand what hiring managers look for when reviewing applications.
- 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm--Custody Operations & Correctional Health
Discover the County’s unique clinical and nonclinical career paths within Custody Health. Hear about medical, mental health, and nursing roles; multiple schedule options; and opportunities ranging from entry-level to advanced practice. Speakers will highlight the structured, mission-driven nature of working with high-needs populations, supported by strong teamwork, clear workflows, and well-defined safety practices inside correctional facilities.
Computer lab:
We’re excited to offer a fully equipped computer lab onsite, complete with laptops and friendly staff ready to help. Whether you want to apply for jobs on the spot or explore new opportunities, our team will be there to guide you through every step. Feel free to stop by, get hands-on support, and make the most of the resources available at the expo.

Join us for complimentary headshots starting at 11:30 am on a first-come-first serve basis for the first 100 people. Whether you’re starting out or looking to refresh your look, stop by our photo station! If you selected the 12:30 pm entry time, feel free to arrive earlier - we’re happy to welcome you in before your scheduled timeslot so you don’t miss out on the complimentary headshots.
Raffle:
Don't miss our Grand Prize Raffle! Each grand prize includes an exclusive meet‑and‑greet with a member of department leadership plus a guided tour of the facility. It’s a fun way to get an inside look at the organization, make meaningful connections, and experience the workplace from the inside out. Winners will be contacted post-event.

Event Parking:
Free event parking can be found in the parking lot located directly across from James P. McEntee Plaza, located at W Hedding and N First and the parking lot located at W Hedding and N San Pedro. Paid parking can be found along the street and at the Civic Center Parking Garage. Carpooling is highly encouraged.
If using public transportation, please use the Blue and Green VTA light rail lines and the Civic Center stop.
