ABOUT THE VENUE
Madhyamaka KMC is set just outside of Pocklington, near York. Home to an established Kadampa Buddhist community since 1986, it houses a World Peace café, a book and gift shop, a B&B and is a popular place for locals to visit and walk in its extensive grounds. Madhyamaka KMC was the very first Kadampa Centre established in the West by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. It is a place of pilgrimage for Kadampa practitioners around the world.
ABOUT THE TEACHER
The retreat will be led by the Resident Teacher at Atisha Kadampa Meditation Centre, Gen Kelsang Chogma.
Gen Kelsang Chogma has been practising and teaching meditation and Kadampa Buddhism for over 25 years. She brings a wealth of experience having been Resident Teacher in Halifax, West Yorkshire and also Education Programme Co-ordinator in three major UK Dharma Centres, including Madhyamaka KMC.
