Az évforduló alkalmából a Market Spirit Bárja egy külön erre az alkalomra megalkotott itallal idézi meg az aranykort – a fények, a ritmus és a nagyvilág csábításának időszakát. Ahogyan egykor a Corvin Palace kirakataiban egzotikus áruk és távoli ígéretek találkoztak a modern eleganciával, úgy olvad össze a pohárban a napérlelte maracuja, a selymes rum és a meleg fahéj. A koktél márciusban végig elérhető, ára stílusosan 1 926 Ft. ✨

• A Corvin Palace megnyitásakor több mint 30 különálló osztállyal működött – a kesztyűtől a porcelánon át egészen az utazóládákig szinte mindent meg lehetett vásárolni egyetlen épületen belül.
• Az 1920–30-as években rendszeresen tartottak divatbemutatókat az áruházban, ahol élő modellek mutatták be a legfrissebb bécsi és párizsi trendeket – igazi társasági eseménynek számított egy-egy ilyen alkalom.
• A kirakatdekorációk külön csapat munkái voltak, és ünnepek idején annyian gyűltek össze előttük, hogy időnként a forgalmat is lassították a téren.
• A második világháborúban megsérült épületet gyorsan helyreállították, mert a város egyik legfontosabb kereskedelmi központjaként működött tovább.
• A „Corvin” név egy évszázadon át fennmaradt, miközben generációk nőttek fel úgy, hogy az első nagyobb vásárlási vagy szórakozási élményük ehhez az ikonikus budapesti áruházhoz kötődött. ✨

To mark the anniversary, the Market’s Spirit Bar presents a special creation inspired by the golden age — an era of lights, rhythm and cosmopolitan allure. Just as exotic goods and distant promises once met modern elegance in the windows of Corvin Palace, sun-ripened passion fruit, smooth rum and warm cinnamon blend together in this glass.
Available throughout March for a stylish 1,926 HUF. ✨

• When Corvin Palace first opened, it featured more than 30 separate departments — from gloves and porcelain to travel trunks, almost everything could be purchased under one roof.
• In the 1920s and 30s, fashion shows were regularly held inside the department store, where live models presented the latest Viennese and Parisian trends — true social highlights of the era.
• The window displays were created by dedicated design teams, and during holidays crowds gathered in such numbers that traffic on the square was sometimes slowed.
• Although the building was damaged during World War II, it was quickly restored and continued operating as one of the city’s most important commercial hubs.
• The name “Corvin” has endured for a century, as generations grew up associating their first major shopping or social experiences with this iconic Budapest landmark. ✨
