Over two decades later, their reputation has only grown: reissues on Cleopatra Records, praise from Postpunk.com, Ascension, and Sens Critique (which lists them among the 35 must-have gothic rock bands alongside Bauhaus, The Cure, and Joy Division), and a dedicated global fanbase keeping their legacy alive.
Reuniting in 2022 with drummer Laurent Tamagno (ex-M83), the band returned triumphantly with sold-out shows across Europe, Mexico, and major festivals, drawing thousands of fans. Their streaming numbers now exceed 2 million plays per year.
After nearly 30 years, Corpus Delicti are creating new music again. Their comeback single Chaos (2023), produced by William Faith, proved they’ve lost none of their power, followed by A Fairy Lie (2024) and a Latin American tour.
Now, the band enters a new chapter with Liminal, a record both dark and luminous, vibrant and urgent, set for release in November 2025. The first single, Room 36, unveils a haunting and powerful atmosphere, elevated by a collaboration with contemporary artist Jean-Luc Verna, who provides the striking album artwork and features in the video, blurring the lines between gothic music and avant-garde art.
Support from BATS OF QUEEN’S WOOD, an anarcho-art rock band formed in 2024 by members of electro-punk outfit Das Fluff and goth legends Sex Gang, known for their "feral intensity" and "bleeding edge" sound.
