Formed in Nice in 1992, Corpus Delicti quickly made their mark on gothic rock with their debut Twilight (1993), followed by two more genre-defining albums before disbanding in 1997. Their fusion of post-punk energy and dark melody earned international acclaim, a US tour, and a lasting cult following.
Over two decades later, their reputation has only grown: reissues on Cleopatra Records, praise from Postpunk.com, Ascension, and Sens Critique (which lists them among the 35 must-have gothic rock bands alongside Bauhaus, The Cure, and Joy Division), and a dedicated global fanbase keeping their legacy alive.
Reuniting in 2022 with drummer Laurent Tamagno (ex-M83), the band returned triumphantly with sold-out shows across Europe, Mexico, and major festivals, drawing thousands of fans. Their streaming numbers now exceed 2 million plays per year.
After nearly 30 years, Corpus Delicti are creating new music again. Their comeback single Chaos (2023), produced by William Faith, proved they’ve lost none of their power, followed by A Fairy Lie (2024) and a Latin American tour.
Now, the band enters a new chapter with Liminal, a record both dark and luminous, vibrant and urgent, set for release in November 2025. The first single, Room 36, unveils a haunting and powerful atmosphere, elevated by a collaboration with contemporary artist Jean-Luc Verna, who provides the striking album artwork and features in the video, blurring the lines between gothic music and avant-garde art.
Support from DAS FLUFF, post punk electro filth. The heady combination of Das Fluff’s trademark electronics, heavy guitars and blade-like verse arouses a sense of unease in the belly while activating the adrenaline rush of dance or flight. Allowing the ominous depths of her psyche to become flesh, Das Fluff is the feral spawn of frontwoman Dawn Lintern, the band’s prolific writer and arranger.
THE SICK MAN OF EUROPE is one of the freshest voices to emerge from London’s underground music scene. The band combines dystopian lyrics and a distinctive Joy Division-stylised vibe that offers up one of the best debut albums of the decade. 80s art rock is back
