Join Archbishop Cushley for the Archdiocesan Corpus Christi Procession at Our Lady & St Andrew’s, Stirling Street, Galashiels, at 3:00pm on Sunday 7 June 2026.Afterwards there will be Benediction in the Church followed by refreshments in the presbytery garden. This annual event is a beautiful, public celebration of the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
The procession will begin from the church at 3:00pm.
First Holy Communicants are especially invited and may wear their First Holy Communion formal clothes to take a special place in the procession. Clergy are most welcome to join the procession in choir.
There will be a celebration in the parish gardens following the procession to which everyone is invited.

From Edinburgh: Follow the A7 south (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes)

Galashiels is on the Borders Railway:
Direct trains run from Edinburgh Waverley to Galashiels Railway Station (journey time approx 55 minutes).
The station is a 5-minute walk from the venue.

From the town centre or transport interchange, the venue is within easy walking distance. Follow signs toward Stirling Street and the town centre.
