About this Event
Join Us for Corporate Parenting, The Promise and UNCRC
Come along in person to explore the ins and outs of corporate parenting and how it ties into The Promise and the UNCRC. This is a great chance to connect, learn, and get inspired about supporting young people through these important frameworks. Don’t miss out on the conversation that’s shaping a better future!
Everyone who works in the Public Sector is a Corporate Parent.
Care-experienced young people may encounter a range of additional challenges such as instability, disrupted education, stigma, financial pressures and experiences of loss and trauma. These experiences can influence their ability to trust others, their relationships and the opportunities available to them.
Training will raise awareness of workers roles and duties, build capacity for and skills required to respond in a trauma-informed way which will improve the outcomes for care-experienced individuals.
