Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of Aberdeen (Trintiy) Cemetery and Broadhill Extension, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.

MEETING POINT is at the cemetery entrance on Park Road, close to the Cross of Sacrifice. What3words//else.civil.lions.
The tour will cover the key features of the cemetery, Cross of Sacrifice, memorials and war graves, giving information on some of those who served.
The cemetery contains a Screen Wall upon which are inscribed the particulars of all the First World War graves in the cemetery. There are around 170 burials of the First World War (including 1 unidentified sailor of the Royal Navy in F.3. 554(CMP)), and around 30 burials of the Second World War. In addition there is 1 Non World War burial.
The tour lasts approx 75 mins and covers about 500 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground with slopes.
There is on street parking available nearby. There are no on site facilities or toilets. Please bring water if required.
Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
Only assistance dogs are allowed in the cemetery.
Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can, but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
