About this Event
Core Medical Skills Faculty Development Course
This will be an opportunity for clinicians who wish to develop their education and training and to become proficient in teaching core medical procedural skills including:
• Lumbar puncture
• Ascitic drain insertion
• Intercostal drain insertion
• DC Cardioversion and Temporary cardiac pacing
• Nasogastric tube insertion
• Central venous line insertion
Teaching methods:
Interactive session and feedback from experienced faculty
Practical workshop
Candidates will be provided with the certificate of faculty development only after the successful completion of delivering the teaching to healthcare professionals at a different date (Details will be provided during the course)
Target Participants:
Doctors with at least 6 months of experience in the NHS who finished their Foundation training or equivalent and have done these procedures in the clinical settings.
