This course is designed to introduce students to the Coptic language as the living liturgical and theological language of the Coptic Orthodox Church. It aims to equip participants with the essential skills needed to read, understand, and appreciate Coptic texts, including biblical passages, liturgical prayers, hymns, and patristic writings.
Through this course, students will gain insight into the historical development of the Coptic language, its importance in preserving the Church’s heritage, and its role in deepening spiritual and liturgical understanding.
The course is open to clergy, theology students, and servants who desire to strengthen their connection to the Church’s tradition and enrich their theological and liturgical formation.
