Step into a sacred space of smoke, rhythm, and spirit.
We begin with copal, the sacred resin of Mesoamerica, whose fragrant smoke purifies the body, clears stagnant energy, and opens the heart for prayer. As the smoke rises, it carries our intentions to the unseen realms, creating a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds.
From this place of clarity, we’ll drop into a guided meditation to ground the body and soften the mind—opening ourselves to receive messages, visions, and healing from within. The breath becomes our anchor as we deepen into the present moment and prepare to journey.
Then, the pulse of the drum begins—the heartbeat of the Earth. Crafted with the skin of the mule, this sacred instrument invites us into trance and transformation. Through rhythm, we travel across inner landscapes, guided by ancestral wisdom and the medicine of sound. Each beat calls the spirit home, weaving together prayer, vibration, and renewal.
Come to cleanse, journey, and remember who you are through the ancient healing forces of copal and drum.
BIO
Maryzelle is a Salvadoran artist and holistic health practitioner from San Francisco, who is deeply rooted in music and spirituality. Growing up in Austin and San Francisco, she first fell in love with drumming, leading her to perform in various bands and tour the country. With a BA in Music from Mills College and a 200 HR yoga teacher certification, she has evolved into a sound therapist, hosting healing events across the Bay Area. Maryzelle incorporates her rooted rituals by honoring her ancestry in offering Cacao in Ceremonies and using earth-grounding tools to bring people closer to themselves, their hearts, and to Mother Earth. She has hosted healing events for Veterans, PTSD Recovery patients, addiction recovery patients, UCSF Hospital, Stanford, UC Berkeley, and more. As a Musician, Ceremonialist, and Healer, Maryzelle works hands-on in creating immersive, earthing grounding, soul-touching experiences.
