About this Event
Join us for a workshop especially for unpaid carers all about making and tasting some delicious and healthy dishes from South East Asia.
This 3-hour hands-on cookery workshop offers unpaid adult carers the opportunity to take time for themselves, enjoy a creative activity, and develop their skills.
What the session includes:
- Delicious dishes: Fresh, tasty and healthy dishes from Southeast Asia such as pad thai, chow mein, Thai meatballs and more!
- Practical skills: A chance to practise a range of different cookery skills, gain time-saving tips, and have confidence-building support to help participants recreate the recipes at home.
- Relaxation & connection: A warm and welcoming space to meet other carers, share experiences, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of cooking together.
- Take-home goodies: Participants will leave with a freshly made dish, recipes, and the know-how to cook them again with ease.
The workshop is designed to be stress-free, light hearted, social and good fun.
Please note that this workshop is for registered unpaid adult carers from East Sussex. However, we have a small number of discretionary places for parent carers on application.
If you are not sure if you meet the criteria or you are a parent carer to someone under 18, please contact us at: [email protected].
There is a £5 booking fee.
