About this Event
Cooking & Conversations is a unique experience designed to bring teen girls together in a safe, supportive, and empowering environment. During this interactive session, participants will learn basic culinary skills while engaging in meaningful conversations about life, confidence, friendships, and personal growth.
Led by Chef Judy, owner of Uptown’s Chicken & Waffles, and Shay, therapist and mentor, this event blends hands-on cooking with guided discussions that encourage connection, self-expression, and community among young women.
Girls will work together to prepare a dish, learn practical kitchen skills, and participate in open, encouraging conversations that promote confidence and healthy relationships.
