About this Event
Conversations With, and Without, Benjamin Zephaniah - with Qian Zephaniah
An evening of reflection, conversation and curiosity.
Students from ESOL Colleges and other refugee and migrant groups will present and share work they have created over several weeks in response to the poems and stories of Benjamin Zephaniah, followed by discussions with these students and Qian Zephaniah.
Their responses, in poems, songs, clay sculptures, paintings or videos will be on display in the venue, or projected onto screen during the evening and will form part of our Refugee Week exhibition.
We will then reflect, as an audience, creating our own manifesto of what we can all do to make their, and our, lives better.
