About this Event
Conversations That Matter: Empowering Our Community Through the Gift of Life is a community-centered discussion hosted by the Zeta Chi Chapter of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. that encourages meaningful dialogue about health, family legacy, and the life-saving impact of organ and tissue donation. This gathering is designed to create a welcoming space where community members can learn, reflect, and engage in conversations that often go unspoken but are vitally important.
During this event, attendees will explore why donation and open health conversations matter, gain insight into women’s health, and reflect on how family, legacy, and community shape our health decisions. Through education and shared experiences, participants will leave better informed and empowered to discuss these topics with their loved ones.
The evening will feature special guest Kia White, Public Health Strategist, who will offer valuable perspectives on health advocacy and community empowerment. Her expertise will help guide a thoughtful conversation about the importance of awareness, preparation, and proactive health decision-making.
Hosted at Libbie Mill Library in Richmond, Virginia, this event invites community members to come together, learn from one another, and strengthen our collective commitment to health, knowledge, and the gift of life.
