About this Event

Working in silver and base metals such as copper, you will learn basic skills as well as more complex processes including ring making, chain making, box making, stone setting, wax carving, sand casting, folding and scoring, and cuttlefish casting.

You are also encouraged to experiment with and research techniques not included.

This course is suitable for beginners and improvers.

The workshop is a large creative space and not purpose-built, the emphasis is on creativity and experimentation as well as developing technical skills.

For safety purposes avoid exposed arms and legs, man made fibres, open toe sandals and high heels as we use flame torches, hammers and machinery.

A limited amount of copper will be supplied and advice will be given on the purchase of silver (you do not necessarily need to purchase silver).
