Ease yourself into a yoga practice that nurtures your whole body with movements to improve your wellbeing, health and daily functional fitness. You will learn yoga postures with breath awareness to quieten the mind and regulate the nervous system. You will enjoy a slow and gentle approach to movement with relaxation at the end of each class.Throughout these classes you’ll learn to feel more grounded, improve your balance, reduce stress through breathing techniques and learn strengthening postures. Tamsin will offer alternatives and adaptions to ensure everyone can participate. Yoga has a wealth of benefits, these include: reducing tension; improving joint flexibility, improving depressive symptoms, helping with sleep, reducing anxiety, reducing inflammation and boosting the immune system.
Please bring a mat and a blanket (some mats and blocks provided)
